FAQs

  • A low power FM transmitter is a device that generates a radio frequency signal within the FM band at a low power level, allowing it to broadcast audio content over a limited range to nearby FM radios, ; essentially, it creates a small, localized radio station with a restricted transmission area.

  • There are several software options available for synchronizing Christmas lights to music, such as xLights, Vixen, and Light-O-Rama. These programs allow you to import your music, create custom sequences, and assign effects to individual lights or groups of lights. The software then generates a sequence file that is loaded onto the controller to execute the display. We currently use Xlights

  • To create a light display, you will need a set of programmable LED lights, a controller box to manage the lights, a power supply to provide electricity, and a computer or device to run the sequencing software. Also, you may require extension cords, mounting hardware, and weatherproof enclosures to protect your equipment from the elements.

  • IProgramming a show is time-consuming!  This process includes choosing the music, which node should sync with which light string, and how long should your display be.  The traditional programing can take up to a few months.  The more your decorations you have, the more complicated your show is.
